Our Beliefs
Ministries
We at FHCB are intensely involved in our local inner-city ministry, extending hands of mercy and help to those who are hungry, both physically and spiritually.
We have at our disposal a Christian in-house counselor to give both emotional and spiritual help to anyone in need.
We make regular bus routes to pick up both children and parents for our church services.
We regularly schedule Teen outings with those attending our Sunday School classes. Some of these fun outings have included: Ice skating, pizza parties, miniature golfing, Pirates games...
Included is an annual Youth Camp in the Appalachian Mountains--Appalachian Youth Camp

Children's outings include trips to the Science Center, McDonalds, Burger King, area parks, roller skating...
Once a month, the FHCB ladies and any ladies wanting to join us, meet together at an area restaurant (updates made to church bulletin) for fun, great food and fellowship. We call this getaway time- Girlz Nite Out
Bi-Weekly, FHCB members make a point to support our ministry partner, Joe Chioda with Streets of Gold ministries, by attending free Southern Gospel concerts in area churches (updates to church bulletin)
We believe in the Holy Trinity, that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, grew to give the ultimate sacrifice, his life on the cross and rose three days later to join his Father in Heaven where he prepares to someday return to earth to gather his children, those that have accepted his free gift of salvation. We believe that our life on this earth is only a vapor, that our true home is with with Christ in the glories of Heaven.
We believe that there is a Heaven and a Hell, and those that refuse Christs' free gift of salvation, will make their home in a horrible Hell as promised in God's word.
We believe that Christians can live above sin, by daily seeking God's will, walking in God's great holiness, our ultimate desire to be more like Christ.
We also believe should we fall, Christ is ready and willing to forgive, pick us up and we go forward, our desire not to return to that sin but to be triumphant over sin.
We believe in the power of ministry; reaching out to lost, hurting souls to bring to them the healing love of Jesus Christ., and ultimately to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
